Tata Steel invites Diploma Students as Junior Engineer trainees. They are trained at SNTI Jamshedpur, TATA. In the training of Tata JET, trainees have to visit different departments of Tata Steel to know the process of iron & steel-making process and other ongoing processes in the plants.
Based on their marks they will be placed in different departments of TATA Steel as Junior Engineers.
The role of TATA JET is as a team in charge or shift in-charge technical and have to lead the team below Front Line Managers.

Exam Pattern of TATA JET
Eligible Candidates have to appear in the Written Test. Those who qualify for the written test will be interviewed by a committee for Junior Engineer Trainee.
