1st Semester Chemistry Notes PDF, Jharkhand Polytechnic Notes PDF: This diploma syllabus for the 1st-semester chemistry has been named “Engineering Chemistry”. This is intended to teach you about Atomic Structure, Electrochemistry, Metal & Alloys, Non-Metallic Materials and Environmental Effects i.e Air & Water Pollution, and Preventive Environmental Management (PEM) Activities.

Chemistry is a basic science subject which is essential to all engineering courses. It gives knowledge of engineering materials, their properties, related applications & selection of materials for engineering applications.

Due to technological progress, there are hazardous effects on the environment & human life. The core knowledge of environmental effects will bring awareness in students about the precautions & preventions to be taken to reduce the ill effects.

This subject will generate curiosity about carrying out further development in engineering fields.
