In this blog, we will be discussing the best laptop to buy for college students. Since we don’t buy laptops regularly in the future and it is a one-time investment for at least 2-5 years as a student.
So before buying any laptops we should consider some basic points first. Check our FAQs section for Buying Guide.
This is the list of best laptops for college students which you can buy on sale on Amazon and Flipkart in October 2021. We have included the best laptops from the price range of ₹20,000 to ₹60,000. If you are planning to buy any of these laptops, make sure to add them to your cart so that you don’t have to visit this article again and again just to get the link to that laptop.
Finding good laptops for college students under 20,000 is a difficult task. But I tried and after checking reviews and all the features, I finalise this laptop to put here. Don’t expect too much from this laptop. Although it has low storage it can perform all the common tasks with its 4 GB RAM. It is better to find a used (second-hand Laptop) if you have a tight budget.
There are a variety of laptops in this price range of 30,000. Brands like HP, Dell, Lenovo, ASUS introduce their entry-level laptops under 30,000. You can do basic tasks and later expand your RAM to increase its performance. But always keep in mind that they are not made for heavy tasks like video editing, gaming.
You can find the best laptops under 40,000. These are the best laptops for college students in the price range which comes with SSD m.2 Slot and Expandable RAM up to 12/16 GB in which you can increase its storage and performance.
Best laptops for college students are available at great discounts on Amazon. You can upgrade your storage and RAM in these laptops to increase their performance. You can do high tasks on these laptops and do a little bit of gaming.
We should always prefer a laptop with SSD. SSDs are 10X faster than mechanical and HDD hard drives and are highly recommended these days. SSDs usually have a longer life as compared with mechanical drives.
Processor process the data on a laptop. Better the processor better the performance will be by it. New & Higher-Generation Processors are usually better in terms of performance and pricing in laptops for college students. For multitasking, laptops required more threads and cores. Don’t prefer laptops which have processors below 9th generation unless you get them at a highly discount price as compared with 10th, 11th generation laptops for students
Flipkart’s Big Billion Days Sale and Amazon’s Great Indian Festival Sale offer great discounts on laptops for students. You can check the price history of any product on https://pricehistory.in/.
RAM is responsible for storing the programs and files temporarily in the volatile memory of the laptops. The higher and faster the RAM, the better the multitasking performance will be. For an average user, I will suggest 8 GB of RAM for Laptops.
If you are interested in video editing or gaming or you use graphics-intensive software like Adobe Premiere Pro/After-Effects, or you want to do gaming, you will need a good graphics card. Otherwise, graphic cards will not change or affect your experience on your laptop.
