Hello, friends! Today, I am going to talk about a very important topic that many of you have asked me about. How to do B.Tech with a job?

As you know, I am a diploma engineer myself and I know how hard it is to balance work and studies. Many of you want to upgrade your skills and qualifications, but you don’t have the time or money to join a regular college. Well, I have some good news for you!

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has recently approved admission to working professionals at diploma and degree levels in flexible timings/mode. This means that you can enrol in a B.Tech program that suits your schedule and learning style. You can study online, offline or in a blended mode, depending on the course and the institution.

This is a great opportunity for all working professionals who want to advance their careers and earn a degree from a reputed institution. AICTE has also announced that they will soon release the list of approved institutions offering post-graduate level courses in flexible timings/mode. So, if you are interested in pursuing an M.Tech or MBA, you can also look forward to that.

Now, let me tell you some of the eligibility criteria and the application process for these courses.

Eligibility criteria for diploma-level courses:

  • You should have passed the 10th standard or equivalent examination with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subjects.
  • You should have a minimum of two years of work experience in the relevant field after passing the 10th standard.
  • You should have a valid score on the entrance test conducted (if any) by the institution or AICTE.

Eligibility criteria for degree-level courses:

  • You should have passed the diploma or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
  • You should have a minimum of two years of work experience in the relevant field after passing the diploma or equivalent.
